Project Objective:

1) to compare the business mutual fund models in Taiwan with those in Europe and the U.S, and to analyse the similarities and differences of requirements in implementing STP practices;

2) to identify drivers and barriers considered by different stakeholder organisations, including fund managers, distributors and transfer agents, on automating fund processing in Taiwan;

3) to examine the business strategies and tactics adopted by key STP solution providers to promote automation of fund processing in Taiwan;

4) to provide an overall assessment on the current development and offer recommendations to relevant stakeholder organisations in achieving successful STP diffusion in Taiwan.
